Griffith Harty is a photographer and educator who lives in Shanghai, China. Griffith grew up in California, where he developed a “taste for capturing images of nature along with urban and environmental degradation.” He creates his works utilizing a combination of: photo emulsion, transparency, paint and digital / medium format film. When Griffith is not taking pictures or teaching, he can often be found losing himself in the wilderness, surfing and exploring Asia.
