This work holds a special place in my heart. Before diving into any project, I make it a habit to explore the captivating works of my favorite photographers. In this particular piece, I aimed to capture the essence of Henry Prestes’ artistry while infusing my own creative touch.
This piece reflects both my linguistic interests and a glimpse into my psychological state. During its creation, I grappled with insomnia. The artwork depicts a man wandering the streets late at night, illuminated by a neon sign that reads’ insomnia,’ capturing the essence of my experiences during that challenging time.
Once again, I’ve drawn inspiration from the works of Henry Prestes, a meticulous photographer who has consistently been a source of inspiration for me. For this piece, I placed a particular emphasis on colour.
I believe that colours can convey the emotions within a person’s heart. Consequently, I pay meticulous attention to light and color in my work. In this image, the colors tell a story of a hazy morning as a man steps across the streets, carrying his memories into the unknown.

For me, the night has a unique charm. During nighttime, individuals showcase their authentic selves, free from the masks they wear during the day. This authenticity is the inspiration behind much of my work, which often captures the mysterious beauty of a foggy night. Additionally, the night serves as the optimal time for photography, as it provides the ideal conditions for capturing the essence of moments in the stillness and darkness.
As you can see in my work, there’s always a solitary figure—a man or a woman—strolling through the streets. To me, solitude is a divine gift. In these moments, one can truly grasp the truth of things. So, as Tarkovsky said, one should never tire of loneliness; instead, learn to live with it.
