When the Dust Settles

When the Dust Settles

Joel Jimenez is a photographer based in Costa Rica. He created the project titled, “When the Dust Settles,” to explore the notion of the symbiotic relationship between humanity and the landscape. Joel states about the series, “(It) is a study of place and man that is concerned with the psychological and emotional stimuli that arise from the dynamic.” The concept of time, space and identity imprinted upon a particular space is very important to the imagery presented. Joel has been featured in LensCulture, and National Geographic.
