Lori Nix and collaborator Kathleen Gerber have been creating miniatures together for over sixteen years. Their work is inspired by their love of science fiction and dystopia media (Blade Runner, Planet of the Apes, Logan’s Run). They state, “We are constantly learning new techniques and ways of working that we can use in our scenes. The challenge of learning is a big motivator for us.” Lori and Kathleen have been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships in Photography and have exhibited at ClampArt Gallery in New York.
