Nebula

Nebula

Spanish photographer, Jacqueline Roberts utilizes historical techniques, like wet plate, cyanotype and bromoils to create her unique photographic works. The publication “Nebula” is a series of portraits produced on glass and metal plates. The title, “Nebula”, is Latin for mist. The sepia toned portraits trace moments of limbo marking the, “transition from childhood to adolescence.” Jaqueline’s wet plate series capture soul-searching glimpses into the psychological charge which exists in youthful exchanges and their nascent selves. Jacqueline’s portraits have been featured in New York Magazine, The Royal Portrait Society Journal and Drome Magazine.
