Justin Mott is an established documentary photographer based in Vietnam, who works for the New York Times. His series titled, Myanmar On the Surface, was shot over a period of years, throughout multiple assignments. Justin says about the project, "I selected these images as a representation of the colorful and cheerful perception of Myanmar that the ruling government wants the rest of the world to see, but a darker story remains beneath the surface."
