Finnish photographer Ville Kansanen has been producing an ongoing series of conceptual photographic works entitled ‘The Procession of Spectres’. Kansanen’s work combines surrealism with elements of the personal. The fascinating thing about this series is that it draws from and is inspired by current neuroscientific discoveries and theories, an the visual narratives also delve deep into the psychological, personal and autobiographical.
