Phyllis Galembo is a photographer, based in New York City. Her work crosses boundaries into fashion and culture, shooting the vibrant costumes of West Africa and the Carnaval styles of Haiti. Phyllis has exhibited at the International Center of Photography and the American Museum of Natural History. Some of her publications include: Maske, Vodou: Visions and Voices of Haiti and Divine Inspiration: From Benin to Bahia.
