Recently Black Fashion Fair in New York, showcased Tuskegee native photographer, Joshua Renfroe, for his photography book, Black Boy Fly. The photo book is a comprehensive visual showcase of Black male culture. The idea of the book is rooted in Joshua’s exploration of artistic freedom, in celebration of his Blackness. The self-published hardcover edition is designed by Fred Sands IV.
Once a season, Black Fashion Fair hosts a book which then becomes a part of their permanent collection. Each selection is made taking into consideration impact on Black Culture, fashion and style. This event was hosted at NeueHouse, a sister company of Fotografiska.
