A Quest to Document African Tribal Nomads (NSFW)

Mario Gerth is a photojournalist from Germany. Mario traveled across the continent of Africa by boat, bicycle and jeep, over a period of 50 months taking photographs. Mario’s aim was to capture the dwindling nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes of Namibia, Angola, Mali, Togo, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Ethiopia and more. The result was a true labor of love, in creating the series titled: Sons and daughters of Wind.

Mario says, “I am very grateful to have witnessed and grown through these trips, and that I can share my vision with you.”
