During Museum closure, Fotografiska New York, started a virtual way to get to know each of the photographers, within their community, a little bit better.
"The Foto Sessions is a way to bring our museum to you while you're at home. In this online destination, we host artist's talks, post virtual galleries, and tell stories that bring you deep into the imaginations of our photographers. We release new content each week, featuring exclusives with some of the world's most admired artists.
"Each "Foto Session," is divided into categories. The images below are from the series, “Fotographers in Focus.” “We’re flipping the camera on our photographers – framing them as the subjects that provoke and sustain our creative curiosity while the museum doors are temporarily closed. We’ve invited our photographers to create videos which share more about their work or tell us how the pandemic is affecting their lives while in isolation.”
