Fares Micue started taking pictures in 2009 as a hobby. After six years of photographing things, she realized it was the perfect medium to share her thoughts and ideas. Photography also created a means to change how the viewer thinkings about reality and has the unique ability to create a visual narrative. She liked this because she was also a writer. Through aesthetics, photography allowed her to add elements such as location, colors, props, and mood.
Fares is a self-taught Spanish photographer, born in the Canary Islands in 1987. Her work can be found on Artsy, and she has also been featured in My Modern Met.
