Frankie Adamson’s photography bridges two worlds—wildlife and pet portraiture—with a signature artistic touch. Based in Brampton, Cumbria, her work ranges from capturing the untamed beauty of Kenya’s Masai Mara to intimate, soulful portraits of dogs.
Her image ‘Kiss of Death’ earned Overall Photographer of the Year 2024 from The Societies of Photographers, standing out among 6,000+ entries. The same image is now in the running for Best of Nation in the World Photographic Cup, with final results in Quito, Ecuador this March.
Previously known for Hounds of Hong Kong, Frankie has returned to the UK to launch Photography by Frankie, focusing on her award-winning dog portraiture. Currently, she’s traveling across 12 Northern UK cities for a 2026 charity calendar project, with proceeds supporting dog rescue efforts. As the British Institute of Professional Photography puts it, Frankie is “at the top of her game.”
We asked Frankie to select some of her favorite images and share the stories behind them in this PROFOLIO.
