Through a Different Lens: Stanley Kubrick Photographs

Through a Different Lens: Stanley Kubrick Photographs

Stanley Kubrick is most acclaimed for his cinematic masterpieces, such as, 2001: Space Odyssey, The Shining, and Full Metal Jacket. What is lesser known about him, is that he was a photojournalist for Look magazine. Born in New York, many of his photographic works are centered around the theme of postwar America in his native city. Stanley’s eye for framing, lighting and composition take form, in these early photographs, currently on display at the Museum of the City of New York. The title of the show is, Through a Different Lens, and will be running through October, 2018.
