Oscar Oweson has been building 3D printed cameras for three years under the name Panomicron. 3D technology has its limitations. As a result, Oscar redesigns the inner-workings of the cameras from “the ground up.”According to Oscar, he utilises industrial 3D printing technology (CAD software) for his projects, which include a 6x7 rangefinder and a 35mm panoramic camera. His projects take from 3 to 6 months, between software, manufacturing, and testing. So far, Oscar has successfully designed 4 original cameras.
