Strongly influenced by French photojournalism, the style of prominent Polish photographer Wojtek Wieteska has developed into a unique style defined by a conceptual approach to reality. From 2001 to 2015, Wojtek taught at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw, the Academy of Theatre in Warsaw and at the Film School in Lodz. Currently he teaches at the Warsaw Film School.
We asked Wojtek some questions, questions he could only answer with his images…
Who are you?
Why photography?
What is your trademark photographic style?
What truly inspires you?
Where do you go when you close your eyes?
Where is home for you?
How would you describe your lifestyle?
What makes a great shot?
How do you view the world?
What is an important lesson you have learned?
