Before COOPH even began, braiding paracord into camera straps was one of our earliest experiments, and you can take our word – it’s not easy. It takes tenacity and true craftsmanship to figure out how to braid a strong strap; one that is comfortable to wear and still preserves that rugged look, inspiring people to go out and seek the extraordinary. But we just fell in love with the idea (and the challenge), and so did Leica. Spurred by the success of our previous collaboration we decided to partner up with the German camera brand for a second time and after four years of development and rigorous testing, we were able to introduce the world to a truly unique and stylish accessory – the Leica Paracord Strap, created by COOPH.

This is why we only use paracord from mastercrafts people in Carinthia for the strap. Only the finest materials for the best cameras in the in World. The strap is finished with high-quality leather and German steel rings.

Three Colors - Leica Classics

There are only three logical choices for the color of paracord strap. Black is classy, understated and fits with any of the tough Leica Camera including the Monochrome Editions. The iconic red color is for the traditionalist, it fits exactly with the red dot on most Leica Camera including the M series and most Q cameras. Finally there is the olive color. This shade matches exactly with the color of the Reporter Editions of iconic Leica Cameras.

Hand strap or neck strap, you choose

The Leica Paracord Strap, created by COOPH is available as a hand strap or a neck strap. If you want to keep light and fast, then the hand strap fit easily around you wrist. If you have a heavier camera, or just want to keep your precious camera close to your chest, then the classic neck strap is for you. Available in 100cm and 126cm lengths which ensure that every body can experience the rugged quality of Leica Paracord Straps.
