Ellie Davies lives in Dorset and works in the forests and woods of Southern England. She states about her work that it “explores the complex interrelationship between the landscape and the individual. Our understanding of landscape can be seen as a construction in which layers of meaning that reflect our cultural preoccupations and anxieties obscure the reality of the land, veiling it, and transforming the natural world into an idealization.”
Elle has exhibited most recently at Gilman Contemporary and Battersea Affordable Art Fair. She was a Nominee at the 14th Annual International Color Awards and featured in Mountain Living Magazine.
