Abandoned places simply fascinate. Once thriving locations in the past, they are now modern ruins with few remnants of the lives that once existed there. Pripyat in the Ukraine is one of those places sitting in decay. Home to nearly 50.000 residents in 1986, the town had to be evacuated after the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
